It would have made it easier to read. I think the author has a lot of talent, she just needs to focus on expansion and a new vision. Brett’s voice is not as consistent and believable as D’s, but it’s well done. View all 78 comments. Despite that they are both wonderful and caring and good people.

There are no easy answers here, and what we end up relying on is the solid base of the friendship that was built between Brett and Cory to sustain us when the worst happens.

The book has two first POV’s and for a change the voices were very different from each other. Brett on the other hand became aware of his feelings rather quickly, but his low feeling of self-worth made him keep his distance and made him wish for someone better for Cory. The two guys meet and quickly become friends.

I truly have to admire Brett in this story. View all 74 comments. Other wise it is cboosers solid 4,5 stars book in my eyes. And they lived Happily Ever After. Sure, there was a little more drama or melodrama around some of the after-effects of the horrible events. But when their relationship evolves into something Brett isn’t ready to need, he reacts Would you like us to take another look at this review? Brett is still as heart-pounding and heroic as ever, with that killer sensitive kfrick.
