YES when the characters already have a history, they have a bit more of a foundation to build on and you can avoid stories going too fast donaldeon any sort of insta-love.
I devoured both Edenbrooke and Blackmoore, both absolutely fantastic! I will be looking for anything and everything she writes. And heart-wrenching, and lovely, and touching, and just so all around, pretty much, perfect?
And ultimately, I can even understand feeling like a bird in a cage. I am unfortunately a book hoarder, which means I save the most anticipated book to read last. I felt Henry’s struggle, to balance what the girl he loves wants for herself, rather than keeping her with him and taking what is rightfully his — Blackmoore.

The plot was awesome and original, but I feel like it got too ‘warm’ in some places and it wasn’t something I’d want to read in the prophet’s donaldsson. Every moment I enjoyed the unfolding story along with the sweet romance building between Kate and Henry.
Dare I say I loved it even more? Sep 23, Michelle Griep rated it it was amazing. I appreciated the author’s gradual unfolding of the details of Kate’s past because that did leave me guessing along the way at some elements of what was donwldson otherwise very predictable story.

The vivid descriptions of the characters brought them to life in the imagination, and the scenes julianje the house and countryside made it seem like you were there.
I loved how the use of different birdcalls and types of birds has different meanings for her, and how those are all tied into different memories from her past. Becoming Lady Lockwood Jennifer Moore. Her terrifyingly dramatic hatred of love is completely ludicrous. I too loved Edenbrooke, her excellent prose, dialogues, sweet romance, and especially the hero, who was the most charming man ever, and everything he should be, As dnaldson as I heard Julianne Donaldson had a new book coming out, I pre-ordered it… and it has just arrived!
Maybe I’ll put a grab button so that people can put it on their sites and show their Adam support.
I love the way Kate is written; she is strong, resourceful and imaginative. I’m more interested in whether the book convinces me on a gut level that the two people are in love and donldson get that happy ending. I’ve been eagerly waiting for the launching. Aug 08, Shannon rated it it was amazing. I took a dozen steps toward the house before I stopped and turned around. Thank you both for this adventure. Okay, I may have overplayed the ghost reference. I stayed up way late into the night. It is pure, unadulterated moonlit fantasy romance. That Henry Delafield is the stuff my dreams are made of!!
This one definitely sounds like one I might read as a palate cleanser and that’s a good thingthough I’d prefer the Jane Austen-esque one to the Wuthering Heights-y one never a Heathcliff fan. It was wonderful, exhausting, and settling on a rating has never been so difficult!
